The second edition of the Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture Inheritance and Development Project in Guangxi has concluded the selection of the "Top 10 Cases", identifying 10 outstanding cases with significant influence, strong representativeness, and replicable and scalable experiences. Among them, the Bronze Drum Culture (Hechi) Ecological Protection Area has made the list.

The Bronze Drum Culture (Hechi) Ecological Protection Area has been recognized for its valuable explorations in promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture. This recognition is a testament to the area's commitment to preserving and promoting traditional culture in a dynamic and forward-thinking manner, inspiring others to follow suit.

In recent years, Hechi has been promoting the integrated development of Copper Drum Culture and tourism, hosting the Bronze Drum Mountain Song Art Festival for 21 consecutive sessions and turning bronze drum culture into a bridge and bond to promote exchanges and integration among ethnic groups.

They have implemented projects to revitalize traditional crafts, supported inheritors in developing bronze drum casting techniques, obtained 21 related patents, and established 20 intangible cultural heritage workshops such as the Bama Yiqiu Hall.

They have also promoted the integration of intangible cultural heritage into the national education system, conducting ongoing activities related to intangible cultural heritage in 350 primary and secondary schools, developing bronze drum culture teaching materials, and promoting bronze drum dance as a popular form of exercise during school breaks.
