Blooming pear blossoms boost tourism economy in Nandan
In Lianhua village, Nandan county, pear blossoms have been in full bloom recently, creating a stunning contrast with the golden rapeseed flowers.
In recent years, Nandan county has been dedicated to establishing Lianhua village as a rural tourism demonstration area by leveraging the village's pristine natural environment and high-quality specialty industries.
Currently, the village has cultivated over 4,000 mu (266.7 hectares) of plums, generating an annual output value of approximately 7.6 million yuan ($1.1 million). This has spurred the development of rural homestays and fruit-picking activities, bolstering the agricultural and tourism economy in the surrounding areas.
