Hechi leads in agricultural products development

In 2023, nine agricultural products from Hechi made it to the second and third batches of nationally famous-brand, special, excellent, and new agricultural products.

This achievement follows the participation of Hechi for the first time in 2022 when three agricultural products were selected. Now, Hechi ranks first in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, with 12 agricultural products selected.

They are Nandan Baping Rice, Nandan Liulong Tea, Nandan Yao Chicken, Du'an Aohan Sheep, Du'an Yaoshan Cattle, Du'an Goat, Nandan Yellow Wax Plum, Nandan Baogu Plum, Nandan Yellow Cattle, Nandan Changjiao Chili, Du'an Dry Lotus Root, and Du'an Grape.

In recent years, Hechi has focused on leveraging its unique resource advantages to promote the high-quality construction of modern characteristic agricultural demonstration areas.

It has also continuously promoted the standardized production of agricultural products, large-scale development, and brand marketing.

As the national list of famous-brand, special, excellent, and new agricultural products continues to expand with more producers from Hechi joining in, more and more people from across the country will be accessible to Hechi's agricultural products and enjoy the city's local specialties.
