Hechi forest resort selected among top 10 resorts in Guangxi

The Danlu Mountain Scenic Area in Hechi has been selected among the 2023 top 10 resorts in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region in terms of forest-based health tourism.

The scenic area is a comprehensive health sanctuary that incorporates elements of agriculture, forestry, culture, sports, travel, and medicine.

The scenic area, located in Changli village, Wuai town, Nandan county, is renowned as a natural oxygen bar with an average annual temperature of 16.9 C and a forest coverage rate of 82 percent.

It is built upon the integration of local traditional folk culture and high-quality natural resources such as forests and streams. Various forms of infrastructure including a glass bridge, plank road, slide, oxygen-inhaling platforms, and exploration caves have been established. Supporting facilities such as a visitor center, parking lots, guest houses, restaurants, and exhibition halls have also been constructed.

The scenic area also provides dishes like hand-made noodles and mulberry wine and offers a total of 26 wellness courses, including forest reading, forest observation, forest walking, forest meditation, forest tai chi, and forest yoga.
