During the 2023 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition held in Guilin from Oct 13 to 15, Hechi showcased an exhibition booth titled "Ecological Longevity City, City of Sanjie Culture" in the Guangxi cultural tourism area.

Located in the northwest of Guangxi, Hechi is home to eight ethnic groups including Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Mulam, Maonan, Dong, and Sui. As a national-level Bronze Drum Cultural (Hechi) Ecological Protection Zone, Hechi has rich ethnic customs and abundant ecological tourist attractions.

During the exhibition, Hechi highlighted the cultural tourist attractions of Luocheng Mulam autonmous county. As the only autonomous county of the Mulam ethnic group in China, Luocheng boasts rich ethnic culture and ecological tourist attractions.

At the same time, it is focusing on promoting the rich intangible cultural heritage of the Bronze Drum Cultural (Hechi) Ecological Protection Experiment Zone as well as the superior health and wellness cultural tourist attractions of the Bama International Longevity Health Tourism Resort.

In addition, taking advantage of the exhibition and the opening of the Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway, Hechi is also focusing on promoting seven high-speed railway tourism-themed boutique routes, showcasing the characteristics of Hechi's cultural tourist attractions and providing travel reference for visitors to Hechi.

During the exhibition, Hechi also held a series of cultural tourism promotion activities. The Luocheng Mianhua Tiankeng Resort showcased its natural landscapes, folk customs, and experiential projects related to cultural tourist attractions in a dedicated promotion session. Tourism companies such as Guangxi Hechi Liusanjie Cultural Tourism Investment Group, Fengshan County Tourism Investment and Development, and Dahua Culture and Tourism Group participated in negotiations regarding cultural tourism projects.

Inside the Hechi Pavilion, distinctive cultural tourism products were showcased, including Luocheng honey, Luocheng mountain spring water, beef jerky, barbecue sauce, grape drink, and camellia oil, as well as intangible heritage products such as Mulam papercutting and embroidery, which proved popular among visitors, with some products selling out quickly.
