Starting from Oct 11, the national railway will implement its fourth quarter train operation schedule for 2023, which includes improving the frequency and coverage of trains on the Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway.
This adjustment in the timetable introduces the most extensive Nanning passenger transport products in nearly 10 years, stated the Nanning railway bureau.
After the implementation of the new schedule, Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway will have 66 scheduled bullet trains, increasing by 40 trains since its initial launch. This improvement will enrich passenger services while also making travel more convenient for local residents.
Passengers boarding at Hechi West Station can now directly reach Nanning, Beihai, and Baise in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. This serves the development of the tourism industry along the rail line and promotes rural vitalization in ethnic minority areas.
Additionally, Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway introduced 48 inter-provincial high-speed trains that have expanded the local railway network and enabled direct connections between cities in Guangxi, such as Nanning, and provincial capitals in regions like Guiyang, Chengdu, Xi'an, Chongqing, and Zhengzhou.
