High-Speed railway makes transportation easier for students

With the full operation of the Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway, transportation in Hechi has changed significantly, making it easier for university students who come to Hechi to study or for students who study outside of the city.

Lan Xinyao is a student that traveled nearly 650 kilometers from Qujing city, Yunnan province, to study at Guangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College. Lan expressed great excitement about the opening of the Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway. "Before the high-speed railway was in operation, I spent about 13 hours traveling. Now, it takes only 4 to 5 hours to reach my school," he said.

The opening of the high-speed railway is also important for Hechi students who are studying outside of the city. They can now reach their schools without transferring between multiple modes of transportation.

"The high-speed railway not only shortens the travel time to pursue higher education, but also provides more opportunities for me to broaden my horizons," said Tan Yinhong, a freshman who is preparing to take the high-speed train to Nanning city for school.
