Hechi enterprise ranks among China's top 500 private companies
On Sept 12, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the list of China's Top 500 Private Enterprises for 2023. Guangxi boasted four companies on the list, including one from Hechi: Guangxi Nandan Nanfang Metal.
This year, the threshold for entry into the Top 500 Private Enterprises reached 27.6 billion yuan ($3.8 billion), an increase of 1.2 billion yuan compared to the previous year.
Established in 1996, Nanfang Nonferrous Group is a large-scale private enterprise that specializes in lead, zinc, copper, antimony, and tin smelting, as well as comprehensive resource recycling. It also boosts nonferrous metal mining and refining.
Currently, the group has two major production bases, Guangxi Nandan Nanfang Metal and Guangxi Nanguo Copper, as well as wholly-owned subsidiary companies like Nanguo Mining Company and Jindan Company. It is also the controlling shareholder of Jinhe Company.
Over the years, the company's comprehensive strength has continuously grown. It currently ranks among the top three lead and zinc companies in China, and holds the second position among Top 100 Private Enterprises in Guangxi. In 2022, the company achieved a business revenue of 60.12 billion yuan and contributed 1.69 billion yuan in taxes.
