Hechi tops Guangxi in ecological, environmental quality

In 2022, the excellent air quality rate of Hechi's Jinchengjiang district was 98.63 percent, ranking first in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The compliance rate of drinking water sources in Jingchengjiang district, along with 10 other counties and districts in Hechi, reached 100 percent.

The city has been adamant in following the "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" concept, and has achieved positive results.

In the first quarter of 2023, the ratio of days with good air quality in Jinchengjiang district was 93.33 percent. Additionally, all 12 national-level surface water assessment sections in the city are or exceed class III water quality, indicating that the water quality is excellent. The compliance rate for four prefecture-level centralized domestic drinking water sources, as well as 17 county-level water sources, is also 100 percent.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the city will continue to be listed as a leading area for soil pollution prevention and control. The city will continue to do a good job in all aspects to further improve its ecological environment in 2023.
