Hechi promotes transport links between Donglan-Bama-Fengshan

Since 2021, Hechi has been implementing a strategy of regional integration and high-quality development in Donglan county, Bama Yao autonomous county, and Fengshan county.

The three counties have ramped up the construction of their transportation infrastructure to promote their integrated development.

They have jointly planned 54 related projects based on a total investment of 107.2 billion yuan ($15.6 billion).

As of the end of February, 22 transportation projects have got underway, accounting for 41 percent of the 54 projects that have been planned. Cumulative investment now stands at about 32.35 billion yuan, accounting for 32 percent of the total.

In order to promote integrated development, Hechi has adopted the "government support+enterprise operation" model. It has also allowed automobile transportation companies to operate tour buses, and launched multiple tourism-themed bus lines in these three counties.

Currently, 20 new energy buses have been put into use, with nine routes now open, further accommodating people's travel needs.
