Construction of supporting facilities for Huanjiang Station in full swing
The construction of supporting facilities for Huanjiang Station, a station of the Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway, is in full swing.
The supporting facilities feature six subprojects, including the phase I project for supporting facilities outside of the station, the Huanjiang Station - Jinhe South Road highway project, and the Huanjiang High-speed Railway Avenue project. Other projects include the road project from Shuiyuan town to Huanjiang Station, and Phase I and II of the Guihe Road reconstruction and extension project.
The total investment of these projects is 903 million yuan ($131 million), including 571 million yuan for engineering construction costs. These projects started construction on May 24, 2022, with a planned construction period of 24 months.
Huang Fufang, the project manager of the supporting facilities, said, "To date, the project has completed an output value of 180 million yuan, accounting for 40 percent of the total investment of the project."
These projects are of great significance, as they help to build a new high-speed rail zone in Huangjiang Maonan autonomous county. They also help to build the new high-speed rail transportation network, and to promote the high-quality development of the county's economy.
