The outsourced concrete web rings of Tian'e Longtan Bridge, the world's longest-spanning arch bridge, were joined on Feb 17, allowing construction to continue as planned so that the bridge can open to traffic by the end of the year.

To date, 19,698 cubic meters of concrete have been poured for the outer area of the main bridge, accounting for 70.36 percent of the total poured volume. The entire bridge requires a total volume of approximately 10,918 cu m of web rings, and the pouring of these web rings started on Nov 26, 2022.

The bridge features a high vertical working height and is large in volume, with its web rings varying from 3.7 to 7.7 meters in height and the maximum volume of a single working section measuring in at nearly 350 cu m.

At present, the project command is preparing all participating units to continue working on the bridge's construction.
