Hechi starts construction on 57 major projects

On Feb 14, Hechi held a commencement ceremony for the construction of major projects in the first quarter of 2023 in Nandan county and Luocheng Mulam autonomous county. 57 projects were started, with a total investment of 16.66 billion yuan ($2.43 billion).
The Nandan non-ferrous metal new material industry project has a total investment of 1.92 billion yuan, and involves the extension of the non-ferrous metal industry chain, comprehensive utilization of solid waste resources, and other aspects. After the completion of the project, the output value will increase by more than 1 billion yuan and tax revenue will increase by more than 200 million yuan, which will provide a better environment for follow-up industrial projects.
The total investment of the Luocheng silicon crystal new materials project is more than 1 billion yuan, and the first phase investment is 540 million yuan. The project relies on Luocheng's quartz mineral resources to carry out the comprehensive development, utilization and manufacturing of silicon crystal products. After the project is put into operation, the annual output value is estimated to reach more than 1.2 billion yuan, while the tax revenue will reach more than 100 million yuan. This project will not only turn quartz resources into industrial and economic advantages, but also create more than 1,000 local jobs.
