Yizhou district boasts vibrant Spring Festival atmosphere

As the Spring Festival approaches, Hechi's Yizhou district is boasting a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

In the streets of Yizhou district, red lanterns are hung on trees. "We plan to hang 1,000 large lanterns and 50,000 small lanterns in parks, squares and main streets in the district," said Wei Guangsheng, a Yizhou District Service Center official.

Yizhou district also plans to install 200 sets of LED stars and 750 LED  color bulbs on the osmanthus trees in front of the Hechi Civic Culture Square and the municipal administrative office building to create a festive atmosphere.

On Jan 9, in a residential area of Yizhou district, residents gathered to make rice dumplings and smoked bacon.

On Jan 10, in the East Market of Yizhou district, there were businesses selling couplets and Spring Festival pictures. Many supermarkets in the district have also set up Spring Festival areas for selling Spring Festival goods.
