Hechi agri-products shine at Guilin agricultural fair

The 22nd Guangxi Famous and Special Agricultural Products Fair was held from Dec 29, 2022 to Jan 1, 2023 in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Exhibitors from Hechi promoted "Hechi taste" and the "Hechi brand" to seek new business opportunities through on-site explanations and webcasts.

Wei Facai, deputy director of Hechi's municipal bureau of agriculture and rural affairs, stated that 31 leading enterprises in Hechi went to Guilin to exhibit 135 categories of agricultural products, including Dahua Qibainong chicken, Nandan Baping rice, Yizhou silk quilts, and Du’an black goats.

At the Hechi Rongya Food booth, the staff cooked rice dumplings and attracted many tourists to stop and taste. According to Yang Xiaoyu, deputy general manager of the company, rice dumplings are made by burning natural edible plants into ash, mixing glutinous rice and adding fillings. They not only have a unique fragrance, but also promotes digestion.

In the Hechi exhibition area, the most eye-catching products were the silk products. Several transactions were made during a live broadcast on the morning of Dec 29.

The agricultural fair, along with live broadcasts further enhance brand awareness, will also broaden a business' trading market.
