New progress made in construction of Hechi Station

China Railway First Group begins the construction of the square in front of Hechi Station, part of the Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway.

The construction area of the square is 138,300 square meters, and once completed the square will include a coach station, the first and last bus stops, taxi parking lots, social vehicle parking lots, passenger distribution plazas and supporting businesses. It will also feature bridges entering and exiting the station, hotels, office facilities and other construction projects.

With a total investment of 1.45 billion yuan ($208 million), the project is expected to complete Hechi's transportation hub and supporting road network project by May 30, 2023. The independent commercial part of the project will be completed by Nov 30, 2023.

To date, the main structure of the coach station, the main structure of the first and last bus stops, and the main structure of the coach station's parking lot have been completed.

The access ramp pier pillars, plaza, transfer hall and underground taxi parking lot are currently under construction. The hotel opposite the square is also under orderly construction.
