Construction of Yizhou-Du'an Expressway commences

On Dec 28, the commencement ceremony for the construction of the Yizhou-Du'an Expressway was held in Beiya Yao township, Yizhou district.

The Yizhou-Du'an Expressway is a project for the comprehensive transportation development in Guangxi during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).

After completion, it will improve the access efficiency between Yizhou and Du'an, strengthen the traffic links between the municipal administrative centers in Du'an, Dahua, Bama and other minority counties, and improve the regional traffic conditions.

This expressway will promote the high-quality economic and social development of Hechi, improve rural vitalization, and promote the integration of ethnic regions.

In recent years, the city has been focusing on highway construction, to improve the heavy traffic in Hechi. This year, the total length of expressways in the city will reach 820 kilometers.
