Hechi Station to complete construction in 2023

The construction of Hechi Station will be completed by the end of March 2023. Hechi Station will be part of the Guiyang-Nanning Highspeed Railway, a high speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

According to the construction plan, the construction period for Hechi station is 36 months and the total investment is 1.45 billion yuan ($208 million). The station's area is set to be 12,000 square meters, and it can accommodate up to 2,500 passengers at the same time.

The original site of Hechi Station was a barren slope land in Dongjiang town, Jinchengjiang district. The slope was far away from farming areas. The station will not only be in line with the national system of farmland protection and land conservation, but will also recycle soil to benefit the local people.

The main roof of Hechi Station will have cascade design, which was first applied in the design of Guangxi's railway station buildings. The waiting hall is designed with tempered hollow glass walls, which not only create a comfortable waiting environment, but also saves energy consumption.
