2 counties in Hechi listed on China's top 100 counties for wellness tourism

Bama and Dahua Yao autonomous counties in Hechi, along with five other counties in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, have made it onto the list of top 100 wellness tourism counties in China.

The Chinese Academy of Culture and Tourism Industry, the Asia-Pacific International Leisure Culture Beijing Center and the Travel & Leisure Magazine jointly developed the wellness tourism list and the "deep breathing wellness tourism development index".

In recent years, Bama has implemented a new process for rural vitalization and urban-rural integration development by focusing on the Bama's longevity and wellness resorts, the Guangxi wellness industry base, and the Shenzhen-Bama cooperative pilot zone. The county's economy has maintained a rising trend in development.

Based on its ecological advantages, Dahua has focused on developing and promoting its culture and tourism industry. The county has also created a number of cultural tourism brands such as the national 4A tourist attractions, the China slow life experience leisure area, and the Guangxi eco-tourism demonstration area. Dahua has formed a diversified tourism product system supported by cultural research, outdoor sports, food and leisure experiences.
