Hechi to commence 13th Guangxi Garden, Horticulture Expo

The 13th Guangxi (Hechi) Garden and Horticulture Expo will begin in Hechi's Yizhou district on Dec 6. It will be hosted by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and undertaken by the Hechi municipal people's government.

Hechi Garden Expo Park is located on the bank of Jinshan Lake in Yizhou district and is about seven kilometers away from Yizhou's urban area. The design is inspired by the two main characteristics of Hechi, named the "hometown of the folk music singer, Liu Sanjie" and the "hometown of longevity." It is divided into six functional areas: the main entrance scenic area, the Hechi culture exhibition area, the Guangxi garden exhibition area, the leisure and joy area, the water island ecological experience area, and the mountain health experience area. The main landscapes include Garden Expo Avenue, the Sanyuesan Singing Competition Stage, Shouyuan Square, and the city exhibition gardens.

After this expo, the park will serve as an urban park. It will become an important tourist attraction and a tourist distribution center in Hechi and kick-start the development of the surrounding areas.
