Hechi marks key milestones for 28 projects in Q4

Hechi held a ceremony in Tian'e county on Nov 23 marking both the commencement and completion of scores of major projects in the fourth quarter. Ground was also broken on an exciting new project at Tian'e modern forestry industry innovation demonstration park.

Construction work began on 28 projects, with a total investment of 5.1 billion yuan ($712 million) and an annual planned investment of 1.33 billion yuan.

The pioneer start-up area project at Tian'e modern forestry industry innovation demonstration park, with a total planned investment of 879 million yuan, is a key project in Tian'e county as part of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25). It also ranks as a major construction project promoted at the autonomous-region level.

It will be based on the country's unique natural resources, notably its cedar woods, and will build a modern forestry industry cluster to inject fresh momentum into the development of Tian'e's forestry industry chain.
