Hechi sees 3 scenic spots win rural tourism honor

Hechi's three top scenic spots, including Crystal Palace and the Renshouyuan Scenic Area in Bama Yao autonomous county, and Simeng Sports Park in Donglan county, have been selected as boutique routes for beautiful rural leisure tourism in China this year.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Nov 22 released a list of 54 boutique routes and 191 boutique scenic spots at the 2022 China's beautiful rural leisure tourism promotion event.

Through the form of intangible cultural heritage displays and online travel, the event demonstrated a number of such boutique scenic spots and routes, providing people with exciting ways to experience agricultural civilization and rural scenery.

In recent years, Hechi has made efforts to cultivate and develop new forms of business, such as rural tourism, leisure agriculture, the homestay economy, farming cultural experiences, cultural tourism and health care, based on its natural ecology, history, culture, characteristic agriculture and other resource advantages. The city's rural leisure tourism industry has developed vigorously.

Bama Yao autonomous county has applied for recognition as a national leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration county. The city also has some national and autonomous-region-level leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration sites.
