Sea of clouds attracts many tourists to Fengshan

Magnificent views of a sea of clouds at Baileao Shouyuan Cloud Sea Scenic Area attracted many visitors eager to appreciate the stunning views.

Located at the junction of Qiaoyin town and Changzhou town in Fengshan county, Baileao is situated in the core area of Leye Fengshan Global Geopark. It belongs to the northwest extension zone of the Duyang Mountains at the southern foot of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and is the watershed of the Panyang River and the Baying River systems.

Situated 860 meters above sea level, Baileao is surrounded by high mountains and lush forests. The water vapor from the Qiaoyin River Valley mixes with the cold air from high places. The water mist is blocked and gathered at the mountainside to form a sea of clouds.
