To date, the Nandan-Tian'e Expressway has completed 93.8 percent of the annual investment, with its bridges and tunnels completed expect for the Tian'e Longtan Bridge. It is expected to open to traffic in December with the exception of the Tian'e Longtan Bridge section.

The construction unit is accelerating pavement asphalt construction and the completion of Xiangyang Service Area. To date, the service area's complex building, public toilets, repair shop, gas station, office complex building, and charging shed have been completed, while greening related supporting facilities are being built.

The main line of the Nandan-Tian'e Expressway is 104.9 kilometers long, with 79 bridges and 30 tunnels. The bridge-tunnel ratio is up to 74.04 percent. There are also six interchanges and two service areas along the line.

After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will form a new connecting channel in northern Guangxi, which is of great significance for the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and the expressway network in Guangxi.
