Yizhou continues to improve urban environment

In recent years, the urban living environment of Hechi's Yizhou district has continuously improved, while the quality of life in the city has risen significantly.

A number of projects are under construction in the district, such as the ecological restoration and quality improvement project on the north bank of Longjiang River, as well as the reconstruction and expansion project of Jinyi Avenue. The construction of Chengxi Economic and Development Zone and Yizhou New District has continued to expand.

While repairing and transforming its roads, Yizhou has continued to promote the construction of infrastructure like parking lots and car charging piles. It has also renovated parks, squares, sidewalks, and urban drainage pipes, as well as put forward the beautification of urban areas through initiatives like greening, lighting, and cleaning.

While the appearance of the old city continues to improve, new districts and development zones are also under construction. As the main road leading to Yizhou New District, the first section of Jinshan Avenue is more than 90 percent complete and its second section is in full swing. In September, Hechi Garden Expo Park, the landmark of Yizhou New District, opened for trial operation.

In Yizhou Chengxi Economic Development Zone, silkworm food, mulberry pharmaceutical, as well as snail rice noodles raw material enterprises have gradually been put into operation in addition to the existing cocoon and silk enterprises. The industrial chain has been continuously extended and enriched, driving economic development.
