Hechi elders celebrate National Day with dragon dance

On Sept 24, a dragon dance team rehearsed at the square of Hechi National Park in Jinchengjiang district to welcome the arrival of National Day. 

This is a fitness dragon dance team mainly composed of retired employees. The average age of the members is over 65 years old. Dressing in uniform and holding colorful dragon silks more than ten meters long, they rehearsed the dragon dance earnestly for the upcoming National Day.

"We want to inherit this traditional folk culture. It not only exercises the body, but also cultivates the sentiment," said a member of the dragon dance team surnamed Qin.
