Hechi Garden Expo Park attracts 7,000 tourists on Mid-Autumn Festival

Hechi Garden Expo Park received more than 7,000 tourists on the Mid-Autumn Festival, which fell on Sept 10, and about 3,000 people visited the park that night.

At the Mid-Autumn Festival night, the park hosted a light show and fireworks show, attracting many tourists.

In the park, colorful lanterns of different shapes showed the customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, attracting many children to dance gracefully in the dazzling lights.

Hechi Garden Expo Park also set up multiple performance stages in the park, offering reunion blessings to the public with lively and interesting programs. Residents and tourists felt the strong traditional festive atmosphere by participating in performances of traditional folk songs. A woman dressed in ancient clothing presented a ring dance, which was themed around the ancient Chinese myth of "Chang'e flying to the moon." The show ended with a five-minute fireworks show.

"My daughter has been working out of the city since graduating this year. It is rare to have a reunion during the Mid-Autumn Festival. We appreciated the light show and performances in Garden Expo Park to celebrate the reunion here," a Hechi citizen surnamed Wu said.
