Construction of Pingtang-Tian'e Expressway advances steadily

Currently, the construction of the Pingtang-Tian'e Expressway is advancing steadily, with the project expected to open to traffic by the end of this year.
To date, the subgrade earthwork of the Pingtang-Tian'e Expressway has been completed, the bridge and culvert works are 94 percent completed, while the tunnel works are 94 percent completed.
The Pingtang-Tian'e Expressway starts near Yunyang Pass, Yueli town, Nandan county. It connects Wudang district and Pingtang county in Guizhou province, ending at Tian'e county. The main line of the expressway is 59.2 kilometers long, connecting the Nandan-Tian'e Expressway and the Tian'e-Bama Expressway. It is an important part of the Tian'e-Beihai Expressway.
The construction of this project is of great significance to enhancing the national and regional expressway network, improving regional traffic conditions, as well as accelerating local economic development.
