Hechi home to more than 220,000 market entities

The Hechi municipal market supervision bureau announced on Aug 17 that as of the end of July, there were 222,357 market entities in the city, an increase of 3.63 percent over the end of last year.

Since the beginning of this year, the city has taken multiple measures to stabilize market entities and stimulate market vitality. The vitality and activity of market entities have continuously improved, while the total volume has continued to grow.

On the basis of maintaining the continuous growth of the total number of market entities, the quality of market entities has also improved. Since the beginning of this year, Hechi has been improving the quality of market entities, cultivating seven enterprises that have applied for the Autonomous Region Chairman Quality award, which is the highest quality award established by the autonomous region people’s government this year, rewarding enterprises or organizations that play an industrial and domestic leading role in outstanding performance management mode implementation, quality management, as well as independent innovation, which have yielded remarkable economic and social benefits.

It also cultivated 22 market entities that have applied to be one of the "Thousands of High-standard and High-Quality Agricultural Product Demonstration Bases in Guangxi." It has also cultivated 10 demonstration enterprises, as well as 46 small and medium-sized technological enterprises.
