Tian'e county plans 101 major projects with $2b in investment

This year, Hechi's Tian'e county is planning 101 major projects, with a total investment of more than 15 billion yuan ($2 billion), accumulating momentum for promoting the high-quality development of the county's economy.

Among them, there are 77 projects with an investment of 5 million to 50 million yuan, as well as 24 projects with an investment of more than 50 million yuan. Throughout the year, 94 major projects at the autonomous region, city, and county levels are being planned to be promoted, with a total investment of 22.07 billion yuan.

The county aims to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, as well as to cultivate emerging industries. It is focusing on green ecological industries, such as the ecological industry, ecological agriculture, and eco-tourism.

It is also focusing on planning a group of infrastructure projects in the fields of transportation, water conservancy, power grids, and public livelihood, which will improve urban and rural infrastructure, as well as public service functions.

The county has selected a group of projects with good market prospects, strong influence, and high resource endowments. It is also conducting investment promotion activities. As of July, the county has completed investment promotion projects with 1.83 billion yuan of funds, and completed newly signed investment promotion projects, with an investment of 2.64 billion yuan.
