Hechi opens 1st non-ferrous metal industry craftsman school
On July 15, Hechi City Nonferrous Metal Industry Craftsman School was established in the Tongkeng mining branch of Guangxi Huaxi Mining, which is located in Dachang town, Nandan county.
The school is led by the Hechi Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. Its headquarters covers an area of 750 square meters and has six training classrooms for multimedia, multi-function, as well as computer operation.
In addition to the headquarters, the school also has three training bases, namely the scraper operation and maintenance base, the welder fitter training base, as well as the electrician training base. The three training bases cover a total area of more than 5,000 sq m.
Among the teachers employed by the school are Party representatives and national labor models. Among them, there are four doctoral holders and 133 senior engineers. The courses cover electromechanical, welding, crane, scraper operation and maintenance, testing, flotation, as well as grinding.
"It is our main mission to run the non-ferrous metal industry craftsman school well. We will adapt to Hechi's industrial development needs and speed up the training of high-skilled talents," said Deng Yongkang, principal of the school.
