Hechi sets up economic, technological development zone

On June 30, the CPC Hechi Municipal Committee and Hechi municipal people's government held the unveiling ceremony for the administration committee of the Hechi Economic and Technological Development Zone in Daren Industrial Park.

At the main venue of Daren, Qin Chuncheng, Party chief of Hechi city, and other officials joined the ceremony. The branch parks in Nandan, Huanjiang, and Du'an were also unveiled on the same day.

Qin said that the Hechi Economic and Technological Development Zone should speed up the construction of facilities, enhance the supporting capacity for the industries, promote the development of industrial clusters, and make contributions to high-quality industrial development.

The zone should also strengthen cooperation and reform, optimize the business environment, stimulate its innovative vitality, and establish the city's main platform for attracting investment and main window for opening-up.

In addition, it is necessary to focus on green and low-carbon development, strengthen the application of science and technology, improve industrial efficiency, and create a green development pilot zone, according to Qin.

After the ceremony, Hechi officials held a symposium with heads of enterprises in the park discussing the development plan for the Hechi Economic and Technological Development Zone.
