Dahua launches Intl Museum Day, China Tourism Day publicity activities

From May 18 to 19, Dahua Yao autonomous county organized a series of publicity activities to celebrate the 46th International Museum Day and the 12th China Tourism Day, promote Chinese traditional culture, and help the development of Dahua's tourism industry.

On May 18, staff members from the county culture, radio, television, sports and tourism bureau of Dahua Yao autonomous county introduced Dahua Nationalities Museum and Dahua Revolution Memorial Hall, as well as recommended Dahua's high-quality tourism routes, characteristic tourism brands, and preferential tourism policies to promote the rich national culture, and the local historical and cultural heritages in an effort to attract tourists.

On the evenings of May 18 and 19, Dahua also held two cultural performances, promoting the county's characteristic scenic spots and tourism products, as well as showcasing the achievements of its integrated culture and tourism development.

The Dahua Revolution Memorial Hall was upgraded to an autonomous region-level cultural relics protection unit in 2017, and the Dahua Nationalities Museum was completed and put into use on October 20, 2018. Since the two museums in Dahua were put into use, they have attracted a large number of visitors.

To date, Dahua has three national 4A-level tourist attractions, two four-star tourist hotels, one Guangxi characteristic tourism and leisure district, one Guangxi four-star rural tourist area, three 3A-level tourist attractions, and two four-star rural homestays. By the end of 2021, Dahua established a holistic tourism demonstration area in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
