Green coverage rate of villages in Hechi reaches 47.59%
According to a recent Forestry Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announcement, the green coverage rate of villages in Hechi was 47.59 percent in 2021, ranking first in the autonomous region for two consecutive years.
Last year, the city built six rural beautification demonstration villages and planted 8,229 trees. It added one Guangxi forest health care base and three forest experience bases. Guangxi's first "Two Mountains" Theory ( lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets ) Practice Base settled in World Baikuyao (Nandan) Big Health Tourism Poverty Alleviation Industrial Park, and Hechi Garden Expo Park and Lalang Forest Farm won the title of "Internet + National Voluntary Tree Planting" bases in Guangxi.

There are four counties and districts in Hechi with green coverage rates ranking among the top 10 in the autonomous region. Among them, Tian'e county ranked first with a 62.01 percent green coverage rate, 4.7 percentage points higher than the second-ranking. Fengshan county, Dahua Yao autonomous county, and Donglan county had green coverage rates of 56.98 percent, 54.28 percent, and 52.94 percent, respectively, ranking third, fifth and ninth in the region.
