Hechi optimizes business environment for industrial development
Hechi has been optimizing its business environment to speed up economic transformation and upgrading through supply-side structural reforms.
According to statistics, there are currently more than 30,000 private enterprises, as well as 170,000 individual industrial and commercial households in the city. The private economy contributes more than half of the city's tax revenue, which has provided important support for promoting high-quality economic and social development.
In 2021, Hechi introduced 175 projects, with a total investment of 87.1 billion yuan ($13.7 billion). It organized 388 industrial enterprises to participate in electricity market-oriented transactions, helping them reduce electricity costs by 120 million yuan. It also invested 12.2 billion yuan in Guangxi inclusive loans to reduce corporate financing costs by 229 million yuan, as well as implemented trans-provincial business reform to assist enterprises.
Those enterprises can overcome the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and achieve new development exemplifies the city's optimization of its business environment.

Yuan Yi, the executive director of the company, said that thanks to a series of preferential policies and Hechi’s continuously optimized business environment, they are already full of orders before the summer for their silk quilts.
At Nandan Nanfang Metal, the world's largest 198-square-meter boiler started construction in March, with an investment of 991 million yuan. It is estimated that the company's annual sales revenue will increase by 2.48 billion yuan once it is operational.
