Guangxi to hold Sanyuesan Festival cultural tourism activities

The Information Office of the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held a press conference on March 31 to plan for the 2022 Zhuang ethnic group Sanyuesan Festival cultural tourism consumer brand activities. 

According to officials, the autonomous region will arrange folk customs, tourism, sports, and live shopping activities, which will be carried out in online and offline forums from April 2 to May 2. 

In mid to late April, Nanning will hold three activities, including the opening ceremony and the Guangxi intangible cultural heritage item performance, the Guangxi National Clothing Show, as well as the China-ASEAN Youth Folk Song Festival.

In addition, cities and counties will also hold various cultural activities, such as online displays, exhibitions, broadcasts, offline themed publicity displays, and interactive experiences. According to preliminary statistics, more than 200 activities will be held by local cultural and tourism departments in the region.

This year's Sanyuesan Festival will include a series of tourism promotion activities to help the recovery and development of the region's cultural tourism market. In addition, Guangxi will also hold a series of sports activities, as well as live streaming events to promote Guangxi's special products.
