The Beautiful Maonan Pastoral Complex in Hechi's Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county will be a rural complex that integrates agriculture, culture and tourism. Its dominant industry is citrus ecological agriculture, and it also preserves Maonan, Miao and Yao ethnic cultures, and promotes leisure agriculture and rural tourism.
The complex will cover seven natural villages including Shuangle Miao village, Shuangxing Yao village and Longjiang Maonan village. The total planned area is 8,100 mu (540 hectares), with a planned investment of 249 million yuan ($39 million).
The complex is laid out in accordance with "one ring, two parks and three districts." The "one ring" is the main traffic loop of the pastoral complex that starts from the entrance of the pastoral complex of the S211 provincial road and connects to villages and various agricultural cultural tourism projects along the route.
The "two parks" are a gratitude theme park and an agricultural products processing and logistics park. The "three areas" are an ethnic cultural tourism area, an ecological agriculture agglomeration area, and a comprehensive management service area.
