Hechi Garden Expo Park close to finishing construction work

The construction work in the park of the 13th Guangxi (Hechi) Garden and Horticulture Expo have been nearly completed, and workers are carrying out finishing works such as facade decoration, welding, painting, water and electricity, as well as greening and lighting.

The planned area of the Hechi Garden Expo Park is 242.68 hectares, of which the water area is about 142.68 hectares and the land area is about 100 hectares. The construction project covers buildings, roads, bridges, greening and lakes with an area of about 39,000 square meters. After completed, it will become a natural ecological park integrating expositions, recreational activities, and tourism services.

Gexiantai, the park's primary landscape building, is also nearing completion, and workers are accelerating the installation of lighting modeling panels. With an elevation of 82 meters, Gexiantai is in the center of the park. It is the park's highest vantage point. The overall shape resembles a lovely girl singing heartfelt songs by a beautiful lake, reflecting ethnic aspects, geographical traits, and the culture of Zhuang's folk song artist Liu Sanjie.

The total investment of Hechi Garden Expo Park is 1.05 billion yuan ($165 million). To date, the project completed 90 percent of the building construction work, 97 percent of the landscape work, 96 percent of the road work, 99 percent of the garden project, and 99 percent of the bridge project.
