Hechi Garden Expo Park prepares for preliminary acceptance

Construction work in the park of the 13th Guangxi (Hechi) Garden and Horticulture Expo has picked up as the park prepares to enter the preliminary acceptance process later this month.

Hechi Garden Expo Park is located on the bank of Jinshan Lake in Yizhou district and is about seven kilometers away from Yizhou’s urban area. It has a planned area of about 3,640 mu (242.7 hectares), including about 1,840 mu of natural water area and 1,800 mu of land area.

Hechi has a unique natural environment and colorful culture from its ethnic minority groups. The design of Hechi Garden Expo Garden is inspired by the two main characteristics of Hechi, namely it being the "Hometown of the Folk Song Fairy Liu Sanjie" and the "Hometown of Longevity." Its main areas include the main venue, Garden Expo Avenue, the Sanyuesan Singing Competition Stage, Shouyuan Square, and city exhibition gardens.

The park aims to create a poetic and picturesque garden landscape based on the premise of offering beautiful natural landscapes like mountains, water, forests, fields, and lakes, as well as integrating site attributes and regional culture.
