Tian'e Yunling Mengxiang Pastoral Complex
Tian'e Yunling Mengxiang Pastoral Complex is the first pastoral complex in Guangxi where the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries are integrated with forestry as the leading industry.
The total investment of the complex amounts to nearly 1 billion yuan ($158 million). It covers an area of 58,500 mu (3,900 hectares), including two communities and two administrative villages in Hechi's Tian'e county.

The complex will develop five major industries, including Chinese fir planting, Aohan fine-wool sheep breeding, as well as high-quality rice, vegetables, and fruit planting, building a modern one-stop agricultural production, processing, and sales system.
As part of its rural tourism development efforts, the complex will build various rural tourist attractions and supporting facilities, such as the Dongxi Literature Museum, Laofu Mountain Ecological Park, a Hongshui River landscape belt, as well as a leisure agriculture experience area. The annual output value of the complex is expected to exceed 100 million yuan.
In addition, Tian'e county will increase investment to improve the rural living environment and infrastructure within the pastoral complex. The county will also build a number of village history museums, farming culture museums, and farming experience parks, as well as guide villagers to organize traditional folk activities like the Maguai Cultural Festival.
According to the plan, the complex started construction work in August 2021. Thirty-three projects have been implemented, with an investment of 771 million yuan, before 2022, while 21 projects are being promoted, with an investment of 148 million yuan.
