With the improvement of talent introduction and innovation measures of the Shenzhen-Bama Big Health Cooperation Special Pilot Zone, Hechi's Bama Yao autonomous county has sped up the construction of the international longevity health tourism resort, Huang Bingfeng, Party chief of the Bama Yao autonomous county, said on Jan 19.
Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Guangdong province signed an industrial transfer cooperation framework agreement in November 2019, deciding to build the Shenzhen-Bama pilot zone into a national-level big health industry reform pilot zone, as well as a demonstration area of industrial cooperation between East and West China.
Taking advantage of the Guangdong-Guangxi cooperation mechanism, Bama has attracted a large number of cutting-edge scientific research institutions and enterprises in Shenzhen, such as Huawei, the Shenzhen Institute of Genomics, and Overseas Chinese Town Group, to settle in the pilot zone. To date, the pilot zone has built seven engineering research centers, attracting top universities, scientific research institutions, and talents to gather in Bama.
"The Shenzhen-Bama pilot zone has basically formed a big health industry system focusing on natural drinking water, longevity food, health and medical care, sports, conferences and exhibitions, biotechnology, as well as medicine," Huang said.
In the future, Bama will promote the construction of major projects, such as the China-ASEAN (Bama) Big Data Cloud Computing Base, Bama Digital Health Town, and Cifu Avenue, as well as build the pilot zone into a national-level economic development zone and a big health industry reform pilot area. At the same time, Bama will continue to promote the construction of the international longevity health tourism resort.
