Hechi's economy achieves high-quality development in 2021

According to the Hechi economic work conference held on Jan 6, the gross domestic product of the city is expected to have broken through the 100 billion yuan ($15.8 billion) mark in 2021, with a projected increase of 8 percent year-on-year. 

Preliminary statistics show that in 2021, the added value of industries above designated size in Hechi increased by 4.1 percent, investment in fixed assets increased by 28 percent, fiscal revenue increased by 11.3 percent, the total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 11 percent, and the per capita disposable income of all residents increase by 8 percent.

In order to achieve high-quality development and build a modern economic system, Hechi will focus on the development of its real economy in 2022, enhancing innovation ability, strengthening county economic construction, as well as promoting integrated urban-rural development.
