Du'an releases 2022 economic work plan

On Jan 14, Hechi's Du'an Yao autonomous county held the 2022 economic work conference to release the economic work plan in 2022.

In 2022, the county will centralize economic work and promote high-quality economic development. It will also ensure that by the end of 2023, the county's GDP will exceed 10 billion yuan ($1.57 billion) and the fiscal revenue will exceed 1 billion yuan. The increased level will be higher than the average level of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The county will speed up project planning, and highlight key areas and emerging industries such as calcium carbonate, wine, tourism, big health, new energy, characteristic planting, and breeding.

In order to promote industrial revitalization, the county will focus on the development of the Lingang Industrial Park's Calcium Carbonate Industrial Park, the Modern Food Industrial Park, the E-commerce Logistics Cold Chain Industrial Park, the High-speed Rail New Area, and the Automobile Trade City.

For rural revitalization, it will accelerate the development of high-quality beef, bovine and sheep industry, expand the development scale of sheep farms in township centers, introduce and cultivate a number of agricultural product processing and food manufacturing enterprises, create autonomous region-level modern food industrial parks, and develop leisure agriculture and the rural tourism industry.

In order to promote the revitalization of science, education, and talents, the county will cultivate a group of compound talents in education, medical care, and other various fields, introduce talents around leading industries, and speed up the improvement of various talent protection policies.

Furthermore, the county will promote reforms to create a favorable environment conducive to accelerating economic and social development.
