Nandan fiscal revenue exceeds $240m in 2021
Hechi's Nandan county achieved improvements in both the quality and quantity of fiscal revenue in 2021, and the total amount reached a new record high of 1.53 billion yuan ($240 million), up 34.34 percent year on year, exceeding the 1.5-billion-yuan mark for the first time.
The county encouraged financial institutions to increase their credit loan investments, and raised 50.85 million yuan of funds for rural improvement and renovation. Nandan has also further propelled the upgrading of modern agricultural demonstrative areas and field complexes, comprehensively boosting the effective connection between consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
Nandan has actively explored the implementation of the PPP model (Public-Private-Partnership) to further broaden the project financing channels, with one PPP project has been launched last year, and two projects will be promoted in 2022.
Additionally, Nandan has continued to increase investments to meet people's basic needs with 2.18 billion yuan allocated to the public sector, accounting for 81.51 percent of the proportion of general public budget expenditures. It also has raised 398 million yuan to build a sound multi-level social security system. Furthermore, the county adheres to the concept of prioritizing educational development, and Nandan has invested 650 million yuan in education, which is an increase of 0.89 percent year on year.
