2 Hechi enterprises selected for entrepreneurship, innovation

The first batch of autonomous-region-level cultural demonstrative incubator bases and enterprises of mass entrepreneurship and innovation was recently issued, to which Zhenyi Cultural Communication and Nandan Fengzhen Indigo Dyeing Workshop in Hechi's Du'an Yao autonomous county were selected for their well-equipped infrastructures, standardized comprehensive services, and outstanding innovative abilities.

Founded in September 2017, Du'an Zhenyi Cultural Communication has two county-level intangible cultural heritage workshops and a cultural incubator base employing more than 100 local people at home. With an annual turnover of more than 5 million yuan ( $790,00), it has been listed as one of the "four great cultural enterprises" in Du'an county.

In 2017, Li Fengzhen,  heiress of Yao costume,  established the indigo dyeing workshop together with her daughter Li Qiuyi. Yao costume is a representative project of national intangible cultural heritage. In 2018, the workshop was honored as a model of productive protection of "Yao Costume" while Li Fengzhen was awarded the honorary title of "National Outstanding Migrant Worker" in 2020.

This selection of cultural demonstrative incubator bases and enterprises of mass entrepreneurship and innovation in Guangxi is the first of its kind in China, aiming at promoting the high-quality gradient development of culture and tourism industry and stimulating the vitality of small and medium-sized cultural enterprises in Guangxi.
