Second session of 5th CPPCC Hechi Municipal Committee opens

On Jan 11, the second session of the 5th Hechi municipal committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened in Jinchengjiang district with 263 CPPCC members in attendance.

Li Li, chairman of the CPPCC Hechi municipal committee, gave a speech at the conference on behalf of the standing committee of the fifth Hechi municipal committee of the CPPCC.

Li said that in 2022, the committee will adhere to the two major themes of unity and democracy, give full play to the role of specialized consultative bodies, strengthen its advising ability, and contribute to the high-quality development of Hechi.

Qin Chuncheng, Party secretary of Hechi, also delivered a speech on behalf of the CPC Hechi municipal committee, and emphasized his congratulation for the grand opening of the conference.

Qin said that in 2021, Hechi has made achievements in epidemic prevention and control as well as economic and social development, and has started off well during the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).

Over the past year, the CPPCC Hechi municipal committee members have earnestly carried out political consultation, democratic supervision, and actively participated in the deliberation of politics that adhere to the leadership of the Party, so as to contribute to the city's sustainable and healthy economy and society development, Qin added.

In 2022, CPPCC organizations at all levels and CPPCC members in the city will continue to contribute to building a magnificent Guangxi with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
