Dongli village is the hometown of Wei Baqun, one of the early leaders of China's Peasant Revolution. It is not only rich in red tourism resources, but also has beautiful scenery. It has won the honorary titles of being a National Rural Governance Demonstration Village and one of the 100 Clean Villages in Guangxi.
In recent years, the village has encountered some problems in the community such as unmanaged construction sites and residential areas and limited parking areas, which have affected the appearance of the village.
In response to the problem, Dongli village made a plan to organize villagers to implement and carry out the appearance improvement project in August 2021, and ever since the village has been achieved positive results from redeveloping its orchards, vegetable gardens and pastoral gardens.
With villagers' active participation, the project is progressing very quickly. When viewed from a distance, the houses in the village are neatly arranged, the water in the Santan Pool is clear, and the greenhouses in the fields are constructed in an orderly manner, which is why it received a national honor.
