Du'an starts off 14th Five-Year Plan on right foot

Hechi's Du'an Yao autonomous county has started off the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) this year with good results by consolidating and connecting poverty eradication and rural revitalization, and promoting the construction of economic, political, cultural, social and ecological development.

According to statistics, from January to November, the county's gross regional product is expected to grow by 7 percent year on year; its fiscal revenue is 659.11 million yuan ($103.5 million), up 8.8 percent year-on-year; its per capita disposable income of rural residents is 10,857 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.5 percent; the per capita disposable income of urban residents is 28,435 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.2 percent, and the total foreign trade value of imports and exports is 150 million yuan, up 8 percent year on year.

The county's agricultural economy has achieved fruitful outcomes with its 1.61-billion-yuan output value of farming and 26.96-million-yuan fishing during the first three quarters this year. Its industrial development has been stable with the completion of industrial investments totaling 516 million yuan and having Hechi Du'an Lin'gang Industrial Park as a booster. The tertiary industry has continued to pick up, and it is expected to achieve 3.07 billion yuan from annual tourism consumption.

Progress has also been made in the construction of major projects such as completing 87 projects with a cumulative investment of 6.86 billion yuan from January to November, completing 107.5 percent of the annual plan.
