Total industrial output value in Hechi achieves historical high

According to the Hechi municipal bureau of industry and information technology, from January to November this year, the city's industrial output value above designated size was 50.42 billion yuan ($7.91 billion), with a year-on-year increase of 21.81 percent, which marks a historical high.

In order to create a good business environment and guarantee the production of enterprises, Hechi formulated effective and orderly peak avoidance power rationing plans, taking into account economic and social development under the premise of protecting people's livelihoods and ensuring safety, and arranging electricity consumption according to energy input-output ratio, which has effectively reduce the adverse effects of orderly electricity consumption.

From January to October, 388 industrial companies have been organized to participate in electricity market-oriented transactions with a transaction volume of 3.07 billion kilowatts per hour, helping those companies reduce electricity costs by 116 million yuan.

Hechi also placed a major focus on industrial investment promotion work. In the past 11 months, the city has taken the initiative to plan 20 projects, and promoted 17 projects to participate in investment activities. It has signed eight projects with a planned investment of 6.06 billion yuan.
