Hechi's Dahua to build general airport

On Dec 24, the Guangxi Safety Supervision Administration of Civil Aviation Administration of China agreed on the general airport's site location and the construction plans in Hechi's Dahua Yao autonomous county.

The agreement indicates that the preliminary work of the Dahua General Airport project has achieved substantial progress, laying the foundation for the early completion of the general airport.

The Dahua General Airport site is about 6.4 kilometers away from the county's central urban area. The airport's operations will include general aviation services such as flight training, aerial tours, short-distance transportation, aerial inspections, and aerial surveying and mapping. Meanwhile, it will provide other services like forest fire prevention, agricultural spraying and emergency rescue as well as possibly open official flights between Hechi and other domestic cities.
